The High Definition DVD Studio Support Petition Campaign

How Can I help with our Goal?

First of all: Sign the Petition -That's certainly the BEST way to start.

Secondly, PLEASE Send your emails from us, or links to this site, to all of your favourite magazines or online writers. Click on their names, email contacts, or webmail forms and BEG them to give some coverage to this campaign in their publications or blogs. This is critical to this current stage of our campaign. More exposure means more people like you and I signing the petition and writing the studios.

Here are some other things you can do:

3) buy LOTS of HD DVD movies. The sales of HD DVD have been beating bluray, and that's ultimately the most important weapon.

4) Email your friends! If you commit to geting at least 5 of your friends who are interested in HD DVD to sign the petition, you will have accomplished a great deal.

5) contact the studios directly yourself, as well, and let them know how you feel. When you sign the petition, we will send you an email with contact details.

Email or online contact forms are the easiest way to start. But if you are able to mail them and phone them also, then this will help make your impact greater.

6) Contact the magazines and other media. Let them know about the petition and how you feel. If you see innacurate stories published about HD DVD, contact them and set them straight.

7) Promote this petition online wherever you go. There is a selection of links below that you can use yourself. Put the links to this site and the petition in your signature in online forums worldwide and in whatever Blogs you may engage in. Email details of this drive to all your friends and associates. Getting the word out is a big part of the battle - and you can be instrumental in this effort.

As an aside ) We will, at some point, be taking out ads in various industry publications to let them know how we feel. To support this effort, we may possibly put a PayPal link up to allow those who want to support the initiative, to make donations towards this effort. We're still considering the best way to do this, so stay tuned. (Update April 14th 2007 - As you can tell, we haven't done this, as we don't want all of you thinking this is some sort of money-making scan, but we may in time, try this approach).

Links you can use!

This is a signature file that you can copy and paste directly into your signature on various forums - most forums are compatible with the "B=Bold" and "Color" commands, but if you have a problem, you can strip them off the front and back of the signature, or use the second version below.

Below is a version of the signature file for the few sites that do not allow the formatting options of color and bold print.
